Hey guys! Long time no see! I was just watching Youtube videos in between classes (like always), and I realized that I haven't done a post on here in a while! So I decided to get productive and make a post for you guys! Yay!!! I never realized just how many makeup favorites I have that are $10 and under! Anyway, without further ado, here are my top 10 in no particular order!
1. Maybelline The Colossal Mascara ($5-7)
If any of you have been reading my blog, then you would know that I mention this mascara A LOT! It's pretty much my holy grail mascara, and I have tried a ton! I have short, puny lashes and this mascara helps make my lashes look longer and thicker! You can easily take it off with some makeup

Lip Product Addict Tag!
Hello ladies! Sorry I've been gone for a little bit! The end of May/beginning of June has been very busy for me. Finals, my birthday (I turned the big 21!), summer school...the list goes on and on! Anyway, I was watching a couple of Youtube videos this morning and I came across Fleur de Force's Lip Product Addict Tag video as well as Tati from GlamLifeGuru's video. I love watching tag videos, especially
those that have to do with lip products, so I decided to join in on the fun! I tag anyone who wants to do this tag!

February Favorites!
Hello everyone! Today I'm here to show you what my favorite products were for the month of February! For some odd reason, I pretty much wore eye makeup throughout February. I guess I was letting my skin "breathe"! And most of the products are from Maybelline! Maybelline is my number one favorite drugstore brand of makeup! Let's get on with products!
The first eye product that I've been loving are the Maybelline Eye Studio quads, specifically the one in Irresistibly Ivy. I love these quads! They are incredibly pigmented and they are super long wearing. I have so many of these quads but this one is probably my favorite! There's a creamy vanilla shadow, a light gold with some orange undertones, a beautiful teal and a dark antique bronze shade. This quad is great for everyday and you can definitely play with some color by using the teal! Love this product!
No eye look is complete without eyeliner and my trusty old MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack does the trick! I have tried many drugstore gel liners and I was looking around for a good gel liner. My friend suggested that I try the MAC Fluidlines and I have been hooked! The black is a deep black and the thing I like about this product is that it doesn't smudge on my oily lids! The product is very smooth and very easy to work with! I can't wait to try other colors from the line!
The one lip gloss that I have been wearing non-stop is the NYX Butter Lip Gloss in Strawberry Parfait! I don't know what I would do without this lip gloss! I'm sure you have heard many good things about this line of lip gloss so I won't ramble on and on but if you haven't tried any of these lip glosses, buy one at Ulta! There are so many different colors to choose from and there's bound to be one you like!
If you have dark under eye circles, you should try the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer in Neutralizer! I have the worst under eye bags ever and I have tried everything! I'm currently using a new eye cream and so far I'm really liking it (March favorites?). This concealer is really light weight but it has amazing coverage! It blends really easily and I love the brightness it gives me! Definitely check it out if you have dark under circles like myself!
Without these two products, my brows would be a disaster! They're the Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara and the Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown. I recently started doing my brows and the difference it made was unbelievable! The eyebrow pencil is great because it has a plastic comb on one side so that you can brush your eyebrows. The pencil itself is really smooth and pigmented; you only need short strokes to fill in your brows. I love the clear mascara because it sets my pencil and keeps it in place! I've tried the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel and it made my brows really crunchy. The Maybelline on does not do that. These two products saved my eyebrows!

January 2014 Favorites!
Hey everyone! I'm here today to show you what I have been loving this past month! There are some old favorites as well as some new ones! Let's get started!
1. I've been straightening my hair more often and I knew I needed to get some type of heat protectant. I came across the Eva NYC Hungry Hair Oil Treatment at Ulta and decided to give it a try since it was on sale for $7. I tried it the next day and I instantly fell in love! Even though I have short but thick hair, I really only need 2-3 drops of it to lightly coat my hair. This will last you forever! It smells really nice and my hair stays frizz-free throughout the day. If you need a new hair protectant of some sort, I highly recommend this hair treatment! I would repurchase this, even at the full price of $15.
2. I've tried a lot of BB Creams and the only one I really enjoy using is the Physicians Formula Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream. If you're looking for a BB Cream that gives almost a full coverage look, then this one is for you! It has a really thick consistency but it's so easy to blend out. I actually prefer using my fingers to apply it because of its almost mousse texture. It has a slight satin finish so I do have to put powder over it. Overall, I think it's a great BB Cream to try out!
3. I have really oily eyelids so I need an eye primer that will make my eyeshadows last longer and be more vibrant. I got a sample of the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base a couple months ago and now I'm almost finished with it because I love it that much! If you have oily lids, you need this in your life! It comes out white but it becomes clear once you blend it out with your fingers. The only thing I don't like about this product is the cost, $24. I only buy it when Sephora has their 20% sale. Highly recommend if you can afford it!
4. I think I have a new HG drugstore mascara! It's the Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Mascara! I love my Maybelline The Colossal mascara but the length that The Rocket mascara gave my puny little lashes was incredible! This mascara gives me amazing volume and amazing length! There are no flakes whatsoever and it lasts for a really long time! I've had quite a success with Maybelline mascaras and this mascara is no exception. Absolutely love it!
5. These cute little spheres are great! They're the EOS lip balms. I actually didn't care for these when I first tried them out. However, the more I used them, the more I began to like them! Now I have so many of them all around my house! They are great basic lip balms and have a really cute packaging! I'll admit, I was intrigued by their packaging when I first saw them. Who isn't?! Totally recommend these lip balms!
6. I have been wanting to try out a new night cream and came across the Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Cream. I saw that Allison (amarixe on Youtube) mentioned it in a couple videos and thought I should give it a try. The scent is truly great! It smells like fresh oranges, not some artificial crap. I put this on at night and my skin feels fresh, radiant and amazing the next day! I've also noticed that my dark spots have become less noticeable after using this cream for a week. Love this cream and now I'm interested in their other products too!

Maybelline Fall 2013 Collection Haul: Review + Swatches!
Hey everyone! Today I'm here to show you all the items I bought from Maybelline's new Fall 2013 Collection! I have been stalking stores around me everywhere and I finally found new, untouched products! I'm sort of disappointed that there were no new Color Tattoos this year but I have so many to use up! Anyway, let's see what I got!
Let's start off with the lip products! There are a lot of purple lip products in this collection and I really wanted to try them out! Here's the lipsticks I got!
From left to right: Fuchsia Fierce, Violet Intrigue, Midnight Plum
I have reviewed all of my Maybelline Color Sensational lipsticks here and these lipsticks feel exactly like the ones I own! I'm especially excited to wear Violet Intrigue more often this fall! I don't own any colors like these so I'm thrilled to wear them frequently!
From left to right: Purple Royale, Lavender Lavish, Raspberry Ablaze, Berry Brilliance
I have actually never tried these lip glosses before so I decide to get most of the glosses. I might go back to the store to get the other two because I love these lip glosses! I have worn all of the glosses this past week and it might just be my new favorite lip gloss formula! They feel incredibly smooth and creamy on my lips, last a fairly long time (3-4 hours without eating anything greasy), and I love the doe foot applicator! If you want just a couple things from this collection, check out the lip glosses! They are amazing!
Swatches from left to right: Violet Femmes quad, Fall Temptation quad
I own a couple Eye Studio quads from their permanent line I have to say that these weren't really the best. They weren't as pigmented and long lasting as the permanent ones I own. I still like them but the pigmentation could be better in these two quads.
Overall, I'm really impressed with the products I got from this collection! The lip products are definitely the star of the entire collection! Have any of you gotten anything from this collection? Let me know!
Until next time!

My April Favorites!
Good evening guys! Today I'm here to show you my April favorites! This month I have a couple of beauty, skincare and other random things to show. Let's get right to it!
I made this little collage on Polyvore. Pretty cool huh?
1. St. Ives body washes - I've used many different kind of St. Ives body washes and I love them all! Right now I'm using the Renewing Collagen Elastin one and I love how moisturized your skin feels! I highly recommend these amazing body washes!
2. Sephora Collection Instant Nail Polish Remover - OMG! I am in love with this product! I recently decided to go inside Sephora just to browse around. I saw this from the corner of my eyes and was very intrigued by it. I bought it, went home and dipped my fingers in it, and became amazed by how fast and cool it took my nail polish off! There is a pre soaked foam inside the container so that all you have to do is dip your finger in it. So cool!
3. Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser - This is probably my new favorite cleanser. I saw this at Rite Aid a couple of months ago and I decided to pick it up and try it. I used it for a week straight and my skin was so much clearer than before! I also like that it's a foam because I have oily skin. You only need a couple of pumps and it lathers really well. Love it!
4. Fall Out Boy's "Save Rock and Roll" album - For those who don't know, Fall Out Boy is my favorite band of all time. So when I heard that they were making a new album, I totally freaked out! This album is nothing like their older music, which I like. I like artists who do different types of music styles. My favorites songs are "Alone Together", "Where Did the Party Go?", "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)" and "Miss Missing You". I also bought tickets for one of their concerts in September! So excited!
5. Korres Lipstick in 45 Coral - I'm pretty sure I've talked about this lipstick before on my blog. I just love it! It's the perfect coral shade for spring and summer! I need to buy more tubes of this because I'm almost done with mine!
6. Maybelline The Colossal mascara - Another tried and true favorite! This is my HG mascara! It gives amazing length and volume to my tiny lashes! I've purchased at least 4 tubes of this mascara already! Love love love this!
7. TOMS Ash Canvas shoes - I can't believe I haven't tried TOMS until now! My aunt gave me a pair because they were too small for her. I LOVE THEM! My feet feel so comfy and I love how they are all about giving back to those in need. They are kind of expensive but it's for a really good cause! Love them!

March Favorites 2013!
Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great April Fool's Day! I didn't do a joke but my mom totally fooled my dad saying she crashed the car! He was furious haha! Let's see what were my favorites this month!

1. Aveeno Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion for Face SPF 30 - I like to take good care of my skin and I've been reading online how we should wear sunscreen everyday. I've had this for a good while now but only used it for really hot days. Now I use this everyday and I love it! It absorbs right into my skin and doesn't create more oil on my face. It's good under makeup too! A+ on this product!
2. Rite Aid Tugaboos Baby Oil - I can't believe I haven't tried this before until now! I've been wanting to try MAC Cleanse Off Oil since I've heard that it works great at removing eye makeup. So I've been doing some research and came across a review about baby oil on Makeup Alley. People were raving about this being a good eye makeup remover so I tried it and I love it! I use my Shiseido Facial Cotton with it and it removes my eye makeup like a breeze! I definitely suggest that you all try this stuff!
3. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser - I got this in a small kit alongside a mini Supernova mascara (it's okay). NikkiRothBeauty on YouTube raves about this product so I had to try this out! I don't know if it removes makeup well since I use a different cleanser for that but it's great at cleaning my face! My skin has never looked better before using this product! You only need a small amount. The only thing I don't like about it is that it smells weird. Other than that I love it!
4. Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid! Powered Contour Cleansing System - I won't talk to much about this product since I do have a review of it here. The only thing I love about this product is the brush that it comes with. It helps deep clean my pores and my face feels super clean. I hate the cleanser that it comes with. It broke me out like crazy! Definitely check out the brush!
5. L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Bronzed Taupe - I am in love with this eyeshadow! This works great over another favorite this month, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Rich Mahogany. The both paired together makes a great daytime/nighttime bronze smoky eye! The Color Tattoo didn't crease on my super oily lids and they're both insanely pigmented! This is basically my everyday eye look! Unfortunately, Rich Mahogany was limited edition last year but you can use Bad to the Bronze for a similar look. Love these products!
6. bareMinerals SPF 20 Correcting Concealer - I saw this at Sephora last month and bought it on a total whim. I swatched it in store and I loved how creamy it felt on my skin. The next day I used this by itself with no setting powder and I was surprised at how long it lasted! With setting powder it lasts even longer! I'm in the shade Medium 1. This is probably one of my new favorite undereye concealer!

NEW Maybelline Lip Products: Review + Swatches!
Hey everyone! I recently purchased some lip products from Maybelline that I've been wanting to try. These include the new limited edition Baby Lips, Color Whispers and the Vivids collection. Let's get started!

An overview of what I got.
Let's start with the limited edition Baby Lips. I believe they came several months ago. This is my first time trying out these lip balms! I got them in Melon Mania, Coral Crush and Yummy Plummy.

I love these lip balms! They have a fruity smell to them, especially Coral Crush, which smells just like oranges! They are very sheer in color and they keep my lips moisturized all day! Love them! Below are swatches.

From L to R: Melon Mania, Coral Crush, Yummy Plummy
Up next are the new Color Whisper Lip Colors. They're like the Revlon Lip Butters in that they are pigmented but feel comfortable on the lips. I got two colors, one in Mad for Magenta and the other in Berry Ready.

I love these lipsticks/lip butters! They're just like the Baby Lips except they are more pigmented. They lasted around five hours on me. Below are swatches!

From L to R: Mad for Magenta, Berry Ready
Last but certainly not least are the Vivids collection lipsticks. These lipsticks are bright, like Nicki Minaj bright! I got them in two colors, Vivid Rose and Vibrant Mandarin.

The packaging is just like the original Color Sensational lipsticks.

These are incredibly pigmented. One swipe and you've got full color! Since I already love the original Color Sensational lipsticks, it's no surprise that I love these as well! They last 8+ hours and they did not feather out. Below are swatches!

From L to R: Vivid Rose, Vibrant Mandarin
Please excuse my poor lighting on most of these pictures.
Overall, I'm really impressed with these new Maybelline lip products! I love the Color Whispers and Vivids lipsticks! Did you get any of these products? Leave a comment down below!
See you next time!

Maybelline ColorSensational lipsticks: Review + Swatches!
Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite lipsticks ever: Maybelline's ColorSensational lipsticks!

As you can see, I own six of these bad boys! What I love about this line of lipsticks is that they carry a wife range of colors, as well as their finishes. These lipsticks last a long time on me (5-6 hours) and they apply very nicely. Below are swatches of the lipsticks I own.

From L to R: Pink Satin, Bit of Berry, Tinted Taupe, Blissful Berry, Nude Nuances (LE), Elegant Lilac (LE)
I would have to say that the Maybelline ColorSensational lipsticks are my favorite lipsticks, either drugstore or high end. They're very easy to apply and my lips feel very moisturized and not dry. I highly recommend checking out these lipsticks!
Have a great day beauties!

My Favorite Lip Glosses!
Hey there! I haven't been blogging as much as I would like but now I plan on blogging about once or twice a week. Yay! I am a true lipstick girl but lately I've been wearing lip gloss. So, I thought i would show you guys my favorite lip glosses!
The first lip gloss (from L to R) is the Sephora Collection Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in Red Velvet. It is a super sheer red lip gloss. I went into my local Sephora about a year ago and I found it in one of those bins near the checkout stand for $4. I figured, "Why not"? I love the consistency of it: not too thick and not too watery. The scent smells like synthetic fruit which I don't really mind. It's a great beginning lip gloss for those who want to wear red but are intimidated by it. I believe this line of lip gloss has been discontinued, which is a shame because I wanted to try more. Overall, this lip gloss is great!
The second lip gloss is Nars lip gloss in Stella. It's the most expensive one from the lot (coming in at $24) but I truly enjoy it! The Sephora website describes it as a "muted raspberry" color, which is true. It has some shimmer in it but not so much like a glitter bomb. Normally, I hate wearing shimmery lip gloss but Stella is really subtle. The texture leans more towards the thick side which makes it last longer on my lips than the Sephora brand lip gloss. Great lip gloss, but I'll wait until Sephora has another Friends & Family sale to buy more of them.
The third lip gloss is Stila lip glaze in Black Cherry. This is the thickest and stickiest lip gloss from the whole group. I don't recommend this if you don't like thick and goopy lip glosses. I bought this at L.A. IMATS this past June and I fell in love with it! It's a beautiful sheer burgundy color that is perfect for fall/winter! These are also fairly expensive ($22 a piece) but I would totally buy some more in value sets. This particular shade has no shimmer which is another reason why I love it so much. Since Stila lip glazes are super thick, they really last a long time on your lips. I've gotten six hours of wear on these! Definitely recommend it if you love thick lip glosses!
Time for some inexpensive options! The fourth lip gloss is Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss in Coral Reef. I've been looking for a good color lip gloss for the summer and I stumbled upon Youtube Beauty guru Amarixe's blog post about these (http://www.amarixe.com/2011/02/revlon-super-lustrous-lip-glosses.html). I LOVE THIS LIP GLOSS! It's perfect! I love the consistency of them. I love the wide color range. I love how their texture. I love everything about this lip gloss! This is definitely my favorite lip gloss from the group! Can't say enough good things about it!
The fifth lip gloss is Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Dolly. Once again, another Youtube guru (MissJenFABULOUS) made me want to try these out these lip glosses. Buxom lip glosses are sold as being plumping lip glosses. I think I have normal sized lips but I just wanted to give this a shot. Once you put it on, you feel an immediate tingling sensation. Some people might not like that but I actually like it. It feels very cooling to the lips. Dolly is a neutral color, more on the pink side, that has shimmer in it. Like the Stila lip glazes, it is very thick. Love this lip gloss!
Last but certainly not least is another drugstore find, Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss in Tempting Toffee. I actually got this gloss because emilynoel83 on Youtube liked it! Here's a link to her video about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZ0WjdAFpqY. They are not sticky and I love the scent on this one. It's smells very sweet, like caramel. Tempting Toffee is a rosy nude color that's perfect for anytime. I definitely need to try out some more of these lip glosses!
That concludes my top six favorite lip glosses! I love all of these and I hope you try them out too! Leave me a comment on what your favorite lip glosses are! I love trying out new things! Until next time!
