Top 10 Under $10!

Hey guys! Long time no see! I was just watching Youtube videos in between classes (like always), and I realized that I haven't done a post on here in a while! So I decided to get productive and make a post for you guys! Yay!!! I never realized just how many makeup favorites I have that are $10 and under! Anyway, without further ado, here are my top 10 in no particular order!

1. Maybelline The Colossal Mascara ($5-7)
If any of you have been reading my blog, then you would know that I mention this mascara A LOT! It's pretty much my holy grail mascara, and I have tried a ton! I have short, puny lashes and this mascara helps make my lashes look longer and thicker! You can easily take it off with some makeup

February Favorites!

Hello everyone! Today I'm here to show you what my favorite products were for the month of February! For some odd reason, I pretty much wore eye makeup throughout February. I guess I was letting my skin "breathe"! And most of the products are from Maybelline! Maybelline is my number one favorite drugstore brand of makeup! Let's get on with products!

From left to right: Maybelline Eye Studio Quad in Irresistibly Ivy, MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, NYX Butter Lip Gloss in Strawberry Parfait, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer in Neutralizer, Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara, Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown

The first eye product that I've been loving are the Maybelline Eye Studio quads, specifically the one in Irresistibly Ivy. I love these quads! They are incredibly pigmented and they are super long wearing. I have so many of these quads but this one is probably my favorite! There's a creamy vanilla shadow, a light gold with some orange undertones, a beautiful teal and a dark antique bronze shade. This quad is great for everyday and you can definitely play with some color by using the teal! Love this product!

No eye look is complete without eyeliner and my trusty old MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack does the trick! I have tried many drugstore gel liners and I was looking around for a good gel liner. My friend suggested that I try the MAC Fluidlines and I have been hooked! The black is a deep black and the thing I like about this product is that it doesn't smudge on my oily lids! The product is very smooth and very easy to work with! I can't wait to try other colors from the line!

The one lip gloss that I have been wearing non-stop is the NYX Butter Lip Gloss in Strawberry Parfait! I don't know what I would do without this lip gloss! I'm sure you have heard many good things about this line of lip gloss so I won't ramble on and on but if you haven't tried any of these lip glosses, buy one at Ulta! There are so many different colors to choose from and there's bound to be one you like!

If you have dark under eye circles, you should try the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer in Neutralizer! I have the worst under eye bags ever and I have tried everything! I'm currently using a new eye cream and so far I'm really liking it (March favorites?). This concealer is really light weight but it has amazing coverage! It blends really easily and I love the brightness it gives me! Definitely check it out if you have dark under circles like myself!

Without these two products, my brows would be a disaster! They're the Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara and the Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown. I recently started doing my brows and the difference it made was unbelievable! The eyebrow pencil is great because it has a plastic comb on one side so that you can brush your eyebrows. The pencil itself is really smooth and pigmented; you only need short strokes to fill in your brows. I love the clear mascara because it sets my pencil and keeps it in place! I've tried the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel and it made my brows really crunchy. The Maybelline on does not do that. These two products saved my eyebrows!

January 2014 Favorites!

Hey everyone! I'm here today to show you what I have been loving this past month! There are some old favorites as well as some new ones! Let's get started!

1. I've been straightening my hair more often and I knew I needed to get some type of heat protectant. I came across the Eva NYC Hungry Hair Oil Treatment at Ulta and decided to give it a try since it was on sale for $7. I tried it the next day and I instantly fell in love! Even though I have short but thick hair, I really only need 2-3 drops of it to lightly coat my hair. This will last you forever! It smells really nice and my hair stays frizz-free throughout the day. If you need a new hair protectant of some sort, I highly recommend this hair treatment! I would repurchase this, even at the full price of $15.

2. I've tried a lot of BB Creams and the only one I really enjoy using is the Physicians Formula Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream. If you're looking for a BB Cream that gives almost a full coverage look, then this one is for you! It has a really thick consistency but it's so easy to blend out. I actually prefer using my fingers to apply it because of its almost mousse texture. It has a slight satin finish so I do have to put powder over it. Overall, I think it's a great BB Cream to try out!

3. I have really oily eyelids so I need an eye primer that will make my eyeshadows last longer and be more vibrant. I got a sample of the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base a couple months ago and now I'm almost finished with it because I love it that much! If you have oily lids, you need this in your life! It comes out white but it becomes clear once you blend it out with your fingers. The only thing I don't like about this product is the cost, $24. I only buy it when Sephora has their 20% sale. Highly recommend if you can afford it!

4. I think I have a new HG drugstore mascara! It's the Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Mascara! I love my Maybelline The Colossal mascara but the length that The Rocket mascara gave my puny little lashes was incredible! This mascara gives me amazing volume and amazing length! There are no flakes whatsoever and it lasts for a really long time! I've had quite a success with Maybelline mascaras and this mascara is no exception. Absolutely love it!

5. These cute little spheres are great! They're the EOS lip balms. I actually didn't care for these when I first tried them out. However, the more I used them, the more I began to like them! Now I have so many of them all around my house! They are great basic lip balms and have a really cute packaging! I'll admit, I was intrigued by their packaging when I first saw them. Who isn't?! Totally recommend these lip balms!

6. I have been wanting to try out a new night cream and came across the Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Cream. I saw that Allison (amarixe on Youtube) mentioned it in a couple videos and thought I should give it a try. The scent is truly great! It smells like fresh oranges, not some artificial crap. I put this on at night and my skin feels fresh, radiant and amazing the next day! I've also noticed that my dark spots have become less noticeable after using this cream for a week. Love this cream and now I'm interested in their other products too!

September Favorites!

Hey everyone! I'm back to show you my beauty favorites for the month of September! This month is just featuring makeup so sit back, grab a cup of joe and see what I've been loving this past month!

1. I've been all about neutral looks this month and I love this NYX eyeshadow trio in Nude/Taupe/Dark Brown! These eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented and don't have any fall out! It's so easy to use this trio: Nude all over the lid, Taupe in the crease and Dark Brown in either the outer corner or as a liner. Love this and I got it on clearance at Ulta!

2. If I could only wear one pink lip product for the rest of my life, it would be the L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick in Sunset Angora. It's the perfect everyday pink lipstick! I own three of these lipsticks and they are all super moisturizing on my lips! They remind me of the Revlon Lip Butters only they are more pigmented than the L'Oreal ones. I love this lipstick and I will continue to buy it!

3. Another lip product that I've been loving is the new Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm in Rosy Lipped. I got this about a week ago and I already love it! Rosy Lipped is a neutral rosy pink color, one of those "my lips but better" lip colors. These are also very moisturizing and I love the packaging! I think it's cute! I need to check out the other colors too!

4. My everyday blush throughout September has got to be Physician's Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Natural (mouthful much?). When you blend the different shades together, it makes a beautiful light pink sheen on the cheeks. It's amazing! It lasts all day on me and it actually smells wonderful, like fresh flowers! Love it!

5. The Clinique Perfectly Real Foundation has been my favorite foundation this month! I got it a while back and just recently started to wear this again. It has a natural/satin finish and it stays all day on my oily skin surprisingly! It evens out my skintone and it feels like I'm not wearing any makeup at all! It has a light/medium coverage. I wouldn't wear this during summer since the finish isn't matte but I love it during fall/winter! Totally recommend this product!

July Favorites!

I'm seriously going to say this but I can't believe that July is basically over! School is just around the corner! This month I've been using some things that I've mentioned before. I do however have some new products to show! Let's get started!

1. I have been loving the Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin this month! I bought in early May in the shade Medium/Deep and at first I didn't like it. It was too dark for me at the time. However, I tried it again early this month and I absolutely love it! It has a matte finish and it lasts for well over 8 hours. Just one touch up and I'm good to go! I'm not sure if I will use this during fall/winter but for summer, it's amazing!

2. For some reason, my legs are lighter than the rest of my body so I decided to try out the St. Tropez Instant Glow Body Lotion. I got it inside Sephora's annual Sun Kit this May. I tried this for my brother's graduation in June and my legs seriously looked awesome! They actually matched the rest of my body! For reference, I'm about an NC 35 in MAC terms. This does set quickly so you have to work fast. It didn't transfer onto my clothes and lasts all day! Love it!

3. Lately I've been using cream eyeshadows by themselves because I want my makeup to look simple. The one product that I've been loving is the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Amethyst! All I have to do is swipe it on my entire lid, blend and head out the door! I own four of these and I absolutely love them! I do however have to prime my eyelids because they are extremely oily. Other than that, if you're looking for a great stand alone color that don't crease, I totally recommend these!

4. I've talked about this product so many times but I truly love it! My go-to pressed powder has to be the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Pressed Powder! I have it in the Light to Medium shade. I have try this over many foundations and it keeps my skin matte all day long! It's perfect for you oily skin girls out there! The powder is fairly pigmented as well so I can get away with using it as a powder foundation! I can't live without it!

5. Another product that I have shown in my favorites is the bareMinerals Correcting Concealer. I use the shade Medium 1. I love how creamy it is! It doesn't settle into my fine lines either! I use it more as a corrector for under my eyes since it does have some peachy undertones to it. I use this and my Rimmel Match Perfection concealer and my under eyes are completely covered! I've already hit pan on it so I plan on repurchasing this product pretty soon!

6. The one blush and bronzer I've been wearing pretty much all month long has to be my ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder! The NARS Orgasm/Laguna duo looks similar to the ELF one. I love the warmth both the blush and bronzer give me! They give the perfect summertime glow! I've made quite a dent into this duo so I can't wait to hit pan on it soon!

What were your favorites this month! Until next time!

My April Favorites!

Good evening guys! Today I'm here to show you my April favorites! This month I have a couple of beauty, skincare and other random things to show. Let's get right to it!

I made this little collage on Polyvore. Pretty cool huh?

1. St. Ives body washes - I've used many different kind of St. Ives body washes and I love them all! Right now I'm using the Renewing Collagen Elastin one and I love how moisturized your skin feels! I highly recommend these amazing body washes!

2. Sephora Collection Instant Nail Polish Remover - OMG! I am in love with this product! I recently decided to go inside Sephora just to browse around. I saw this from the corner of my eyes and was very intrigued by it. I bought it, went home and dipped my fingers in it, and became amazed by how fast and cool it took my nail polish off! There is a pre soaked foam inside the container so that all you have to do is dip your finger in it. So cool!

3. Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser - This is probably my new favorite cleanser. I saw this at Rite Aid a couple of months ago and I decided to pick it up and try it. I used it for a week straight and my skin was so much clearer than before! I also like that it's a foam because I have oily skin. You only need a couple of pumps and it lathers really well. Love it!

4. Fall Out Boy's "Save Rock and Roll" album - For those who don't know, Fall Out Boy is my favorite band of all time. So when I heard that they were making a new album, I totally freaked out! This album is nothing like their older music, which I like. I like artists who do different types of music styles. My favorites songs are "Alone Together", "Where Did the Party Go?", "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)" and "Miss Missing You". I also bought tickets for one of their concerts in September! So excited!

5. Korres Lipstick in 45 Coral - I'm pretty sure I've talked about this lipstick before on my blog. I just love it! It's the perfect coral shade for spring and summer! I need to buy more tubes of this because I'm almost done with mine!

6. Maybelline The Colossal mascara - Another tried and true favorite! This is my HG mascara! It gives amazing length and volume to my tiny lashes! I've purchased at least 4 tubes of this mascara already! Love love love this!

7. TOMS Ash Canvas shoes - I can't believe I haven't tried TOMS until now! My aunt gave me a pair because they were too small for her. I LOVE THEM! My feet feel so comfy and I love how they are all about giving back to those in need. They are kind of expensive but it's for a really good cause! Love them!

March Favorites 2013!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great April Fool's Day! I didn't do a joke but my mom totally fooled my dad saying she crashed the car! He was furious haha! Let's see what were my favorites this month!

1. Aveeno Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion for Face SPF 30 - I like to take good care of my skin and I've been reading online how we should wear sunscreen everyday. I've had this for a good while now but only used it for really hot days. Now I use this everyday and I love it! It absorbs right into my skin and doesn't create more oil on my face. It's good under makeup too! A+ on this product!

2. Rite Aid Tugaboos Baby Oil - I can't believe I haven't tried this before until now! I've been wanting to try MAC Cleanse Off Oil since I've heard that it works great at removing eye makeup. So I've been doing some research and came across a review about baby oil on Makeup Alley. People were raving about this being a good eye makeup remover so I tried it and I love it! I use my Shiseido Facial Cotton with it and it removes my eye makeup like a breeze! I definitely suggest that you all try this stuff!

3. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser - I got this in a small kit alongside a mini Supernova mascara (it's okay). NikkiRothBeauty on YouTube raves about this product so I had to try this out! I don't know if it removes makeup well since I use a different cleanser for that but it's great at cleaning my face! My skin has never looked better before using this product! You only need a small amount. The only thing I don't like about it is that it smells weird. Other than that I love it!

4. Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid! Powered Contour Cleansing System - I won't talk to much about this product since I do have a review of it here. The only thing I love about this product is the brush that it comes with. It helps deep clean my pores and my face feels super clean. I hate the cleanser that it comes with. It broke me out like crazy! Definitely check out the brush!

5. L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Bronzed Taupe - I am in love with this eyeshadow! This works great over another favorite this month, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Rich Mahogany. The both paired together makes a great daytime/nighttime bronze smoky eye! The Color Tattoo didn't crease on my super oily lids and they're both insanely pigmented! This is basically my everyday eye look! Unfortunately, Rich Mahogany was limited edition last year but you can use Bad to the Bronze for a similar look. Love these products!

6. bareMinerals SPF 20 Correcting Concealer - I saw this at Sephora last month and bought it on a total whim. I swatched it in store and I loved how creamy it felt on my skin. The next day I used this by itself with no setting powder and I was surprised at how long it lasted! With setting powder it lasts even longer! I'm in the shade Medium 1. This is probably one of my new favorite undereye concealer!

Those were my favorites for the month of March! What were your favorites?! Leave a comment below or tweet me!

Until next time!

February Favorites 2013!

Hey everyone! These are the products that I have been loving this past month! Mostly makeup but I do have some random favorites, both pictured and not. Let's get right into it!

I've been loving my Neutrogena Healthy Skin Pressed Powder. I'm in the shade Light to Medium. It's perfect for setting my foundation! It leaves a demi-matte finish which is great for my oily skin. This can also work as a powder foundation because it does have a medium coverage. I'm very pleased with this product!

The blush I've been wearing almost every single day in February is Wet n Wild blush in Heather Silk. It's a matte berry color with a pink undertone to it. I love this blush! It's a perfect pop of color for the cheeks. Most people would say that it's more of a winter shade but I can wear this all year long. It's affordable ($2.99), very pigmented and lasts all day long!

I have tried many new mascaras this past month and the one that I really enjoy using is the Revlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition Waterproof Mascara. HOWEVER, the only part I like about this mascara is the primer side, not the actually mascara. The mascara would smudge all over my undereye area after an hour of application. Definite fail. The primer on the other hand, made my lashes look long and thick. I've used the primer with other mascaras and it gave my lashes length and volume. I wouldn't repurchase this though because of the mascara.

If I could only own one liquid eyeliner for the rest of my life, I would have to go with Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum. This is seriously the best liquid eyeliner I've ever used. What I love about this eyeliner is that it has a thin brush tip which I prefer than felt tips. The tip helps to make your eyeliner super thin or thick. It lasts all day on my eyes and it's the darkest black eyeliner out there. I would definitely repurchase this!

The next three products are all lip products which include Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Dolly, Korres lipstick in 45 Coral, and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Rose Velvet. I've included some swatches below.

From left to right: Korres lipstick in Coral, Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Rose Velvet, Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Dolly.

I've been wearing the Revlon lipstick with the Buxom lipgloss for work and I love it! It's a perfect work lip combo! The Korres lipstick is perfect for Spring/Summer.

My Visine for Contacts eye drops have been a total life saver for me! My eyes have been really dry this past month and I decided to try some eye drops for my contacts. My eyes feel so fresh and clear after using these eye drops! Love them!

As for not pictured here, I've been loving Fall Out Boy's new single "My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up). They are my favorite band ever and I'm so happy that they're back from the hiatus. It sucks that I didn't get tickets for their L.A. concert :(

So that wraps up my February favorites! What where your favorites this month? Until next time!

October Favorites 2012!

Hey all! So glad October is finally over! I had so many midterms and essays to do during that month. I did however found some standout products for this month! Let's get to it!

First, I would love to talk about Wet n Wild eyeshadows. If you have not tried these little suckers, you are not living in the beauty world! WnW eyeshadows are extremely pigmented and wear for a long time. Best part is, they are cheap! I'm talking $5 and under. I don't have a specific favorite trio or palette, I love them all! I definitely recommend them to everyone!

Next is a Wet n Wild blush in Heather Silk. This blush is perfect for fall! I love how it gives my cheeks a flushed look. It looks like the blush has a bit of sparkle in it by I swear it comes out matte on the cheeks. It's very pigmented and very affordable! Another great WnW item!

When it comes to eyebrows, I don't do much to them. But after recently watching MakeupByTiffanyD's eyebrow video, I became obsessed with filling in my eyebrows. I never noticed how it gives a significant new look on my face. She used the Revlon Brow Fantasy pencil and I love it! It comes with a pencil and a gel. My eyebrows look amazing just by using this product! It lasts for a long time and it does not smudge all over my face. A definite two thumbs up!

Another favorite this month would have to be my Wet n Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner. It's the best liquid liner I've ever tried! I have used the L'Oreal Linear Intense and the Maybelline Line Stiletto ones and it just made cracks all over my lash line. Not a cute look. The WnW one lasts all day and doesn't smudge on me. Love it!

Since it's now fall, I love wearing dark red and berry lipsticks. My favorite one this month was Revlon Lip Bitter in Red Velvet. I love just how smooth they glide on your lips and how they are incredibly pigmented. Red Velvet is a dark reddish/burgundy color that is perfect for fall! I love it!

Last but certainly not least is the Rite-Aid Renewal brand makeup brushes, specifically the Kabuki brush. I love using this for applying powder on my face. It's really soft and picks up the product really good. I need to try out more brushes in the future.

What were your favorites for the month of October. Leave me a comment down below or tweet me! Until next time!

September Favorites!

Hello everyone! A bit late but I'm here to show you my beauty favorites for this month! This month I rediscovered some favorite products of mine. Now onto the products!

My first favorite is the Ecotools Bronzer Brush. I actually use it for my liquid foundation. It blends my foundation really well and leaves my skin looking flawless. The bristles are very dense and super soft. I don't get why it's called a bronzer brush since it's too big to use. Nonetheless, it's a superb brush for foundation!

This a definite rediscovered love of mine. It's L'Oreal's Voluminous Full Definition mascara. I first started using it in February of last year and ever since then I've been loving it! It leaves my lashes very long and volumized, something not a lot of mascaras do these days. The formula is not too wet and not too dry, which works wonders for my puny little lashes. Even MakeupByTiffanyD on Youtube loves it! I definitely recommend this mascara!

I just recently got this nail polish but I already love it! It's JulieG713's new nail polish line, Julie, in the color Metallic Heels. This is honestly the best nail polish I have ever tried! The color is opaque in just one coat! Metallic Heels is a metallic gold color that is perfect to wear in the fall! I love the color range in her collection and I can't wait to try out more colors from her line!

Next, are the L'Oreal Colour Caresse lipsticks. I own two but my favorite is the one pictured above, Silky Java. I'm a sucker for rosy nude colors so I was immediately drawn towards this color. These remind me of the Revlon Lip Butters except these glide on smoothly. The darker colors are definitely more pigmented the lighter ones. They don't wear too long on me but I don't care because I love the color! It's a perfect fall shade too!

This product has been a total lifesaver for me recently! It's the Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray. I live in Southern California (specifically in Orange County) and the weather has been really hot! Where's the fall weather?! Anyway, this truly helps my foundation last a long time! I can't believe I haven't used this product until recently! It's a great product that anyone with oily skin has to try out! Highly recommend!

Last but not least, I have been loving the Black Amethyst scent from Bath and Body Works. I have the lotion and the spray. This scent came out last year and of course, Bath and Body Works just had to discontinue it. good thing I have back ups of both! This is scent that you either love it or hate it. It has a very strong floral scent that almost leans to the masculine side. When I layer them together, it smells like fall to me. It's probably my signature scent. Why did you have to discontinue it Bath and Body Works?!

Those were my favorites for the month of September! What were your favorites? Leave a comment down below and tell me! Hope you're all having a nice day!
