Influenster Uni VoxBox!

Hey guys! I will be posting my April favorites later today so look out for that! In the meantime, I'd like to show you what I got in my Uni VoxBox! Influenster is a site where they give out boxes filled with beauty and lifestyle products that is absolutely free! It's so easy to do and it's so much fun! Sign up here if you're interested! So let's see what I got and I'll also provide a mini review!

The first thing I saw was a Pilot Acroball Pen. I was really excited to see this because I already have two other Acroball pens on my desk! I love these pens because they provide a thin black line. I hate pens that are too thick so these pens are a must have! The rubber grips come in different colors so I love all the bright colors they offer!

The next thing I saw were the Playtex Sport Fresh Balance tampons. To be completely honest, I'm not much of a tampon girl. I don't know but the idea of something lodged up inside my hooha freaks me out. TMI? LOL! It's the truth! I did try these though and they were okay. I did notice a tiny bit of leakage after three hours but that's alright. I think I'll just stick to my good ol' pads (I'll be honest, this whole thing was completely awkward lol!).

I was so excited to see the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation! I already had one before receiving the box, but it was a bit too light for me. So I went with the shade True Beige and it matches my skintone perfectly! It has an airy mousse texture that leaves a matte finish so that is perfect for my oily skin! It feels light on the skin and it blends beautifully! It wears well over 8 hours and it's perfect for the upcoming summer season! I really love this product!

The next thing I received was the Red Rose Tea Real Tea in Black Tea. This was actually really good! I found it tastes way better in ice water so it's also perfect for the summer season! I believe there's a Blackberry Currant flavor so I really want to try that one next!

The second I saw a lipstick, I was completely happy! NYC came up with a new lipstick line called the Expert Last Lip Color and I got the shade Forever Fuchsia. Even though the color wasn't something I'd wear on a daily basis, I was still impressed with its long-lasting wear. I got about 6 hours of wear, which is pretty good when you're eating or talking all day. They are really opaque in one swipe so I have to be careful with this lipstick. I'll have to check out more colors in the line because it's a great lipstick!

Lastly, I got the imPRESS Press-On Manicure set in a fuchsia color. They are very easy to apply and the color is gorgeous but the nail beds were a bit short for my nails. So sad! :(

This VoxBox was really good! I was fairly please with just about everything, especially the foundation, pen and tea! Until next time!

Influenster Sweetheart Voxbox 2013!

Hey everyone! I'm back again with another blog post and this is featuring the Influenster Sweetheart Voxbox! I recieved this about a month ago, courtesy of Influenster.

Really quickly, for those who don't know what Influenster is, it's an online community where anyone can sign up and share reviews and experiences on things. The more you interact, the more your "status" goes up and the higher your "status" is, the more likely you are to receive voxboxes like I did! Let's see what I got!



1. Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid! Powered Contour Cleansing System - I was really excited when I first saw this! It comes with the battery powered brush and a sample size of the Shine, Shine Go Away! Shine Minimizing Cleanser. I love the brush! I feel like it cleans my face really well! Make sure you don't scrub very hard with the brush because it will turn your face red, trust me! The cleanser didn't thrilled me too much. When I first opened the cleanser, it smelled very perfume-y. I was kind of worried that it would affect my skin and it did. The next morning, I woke up with three new pimples on my chin. Eww! I also don't like how the cleanser has a silver color to it. Very disappointed on the cleanser but I love the brush!

2. Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray - I was somewhat intrigued by this product. I already have thick wavy hair but I wanted to see if it would make my curls last longer. I really do like this product! It looks like I just came back from the beach everytime I wear this! It does make my hair really dry if I use this product by itself so I have to use some type of mousse or gel to help make my wavy hair moisturized. Not a bad product!

3. Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response Deodorant in Serene Citrus Scent - I've heard many things about this deodorant and I was actually excited to try it out! It's one of those deodorants where you have to turn a dial at the bottom until the deodorant starts to come out at the top. Not my favorite kind but I'll still use it. The scent is delicious! It smells very tropical and fruity. This deodorant didn't last ling on me. I shower every other day and by the next time I shower, my armpits smell horrible. The scent really only lasted me for 8 hours. My other deodorant I use lasts me until my next shower. Not my favorite deodorant.

4. Skinnygirl Daily On-the-Go Bar in Coco-Nut - I love protein bars so I was super happy that I got this in my box! They have 8 grams of protein and only 180 calories per bar. They taste just like the Caramel Delites Girl Scout cookies, which are my favorites! It's the perfect snack to carry around! I will definitely repurchase these!

I loved this Voxbox! If you don't have an Influenster account, I seriously recommend signing up! It's fun and you could get your own box yourself!

Influenster's New Design!

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a good day so far! My night class got cancelled today so I can catch up on Ringer on Netflix! It's one of my favorite shows! Too bad there's only one season :(

Anywho, this post is mainly about a site I recently discovered called Influenster. I came across it after I saw many girls on YouTube getting these boxes filled with amazing stuff called Voxbox. I became intrigued and signed up in May of this year. You basically did surveys and answer questions on badges you wanted and they will email you if you qualified for a Voxbox. Sounds cool right?!

In September of this year, they recently revamped their entire site. I love the new things they added. For one, you can see where everything is and have no problems looking up badges. I also like how you now have to work harder to get a Voxbox. Before the revamp, it was fairly easily to get a Voxbox but I like how I have to work harder to get what I want. I've met lots of new people who share the same interests as me, which makes participating online is really fun!

Overall, I like the new site. I'm very active on it now and I hope to get a Voxbox in the near future! I encourage everyone to sign up! It's a lot of fun!
